In this video I discuss what some considerations should be for aftermarket triggers in your firearms and really why an OEM trigger is ideal for a carry or duty style set up. Any comments or questions feel free to drop them down below. As always, stay safe and stay trained.
In this video we are diving into what my EDC is looking like for the start of 2023. It has been awhile since I did an EDC update video and it seemed appropriate to open up the new year with one. Any comments or questions feel free to put them down below. We have some awesome stuff lined up for 2023 and can't wait to share it all with you. Stay safe, stay trained.
In this video I discuss my initial impressions and first thoughts on this product from Leisure Carry. Essentially, making it a realistic possibility to carry in gym clothes or anything that is not using a traditional belt. Off-body carry of your EDC firearm is something we hope to avoid at all costs and this very well may be a sound solution for that. I will be doing some additional testing of this out and about and ill be back for my final thoughts on it in the future. Feel free to share your questions and concerns down below, we look forward to hearing your thoughts on this as well. Stay safe, stay trained.
In this video we dive into the philosophical debate of if people should be training from concealment or OWB. Really the short answer it is depends, but that's just out take on it. Feel free to comment down below with any comments or questions, we look forward to seeing what everyone has to say. Stay safe, stay trained.
In this video I break down the current status of an unintentional project that came about earlier this year and is currently in a functional form. This G17 is a test case for me to see if its possible to build a Glock platform that is capable and comparable to a 2011 or other high end handgun. I don't think that this will ever be perfectly replicated, but how close can we get it? Stay tuned for updates and find out. Stay safe, stay trained.
In this video we take another look at the Brownell's Glock slides and just in time to catch some really good current deals on them over at brownells.com
In this video I give a more in depth view on my Pelican 1650 range box load out that comes with me every range day. This is subject to change and adjust going forward though especially with looking at loading out a Pelican case specifically for teaching. I hope this helps give some insight into what I consider important to have with me on the range, and any questions or comments feel free to throw them down below. Just keep it respectful for the sake of anyone else looking to get in on the conversation. Stay safe, stay trained.
In this video I dive into my Modern Materiel 14.5 Rifle set up. After Building out more than a few rifles this is where I have landed as far as what I want out of a fighting rifle. Obviously, there are still some improvements to come, but this is the bulk of it. Any questions or comments please feel free to respectfully put them down below, we are all hoping to learn. Stay safe, stay trained.
In this video I am giving an initial look at my initial light and laser set-up that is on my work gun in process, my Modern Materiel 14.5" build. You will see more on this full set-up later. This is a quick video on some upgrades and updates to the RAS 12.3 Rifle Build I had posted a little while back. Really nothing too earth shattering but I wanted to show the almost finished build none the less. Needless to say, I am very happy with how this turned out and has ran so far, but time will always tell. We appreciate you taking the time to watch this video and always welcome some productive discussions down in the comments section, just be a good human. Stay safe, stay trained. In this video I dive into the load out of my Grey Ghost Gear SMC plate carrier. I have this set up to work in a team setting with the essential items still within usability, and I provide some why's to what I have on this particular set-up. These are available direct through Grey Ghost or Brownell's Inc, and the price points really cannot be beat. In this video I dive into the specifics on my modern materiel rifle set up and a little bit of the why behind why I set it up the way that I did. This is a baseline rifle set up in my opinion that is confrontation effective in this configuration. By all means share your thoughts and opinions below and always feel free to ask questions. Stay safe, stay trained.
In this video I dive into my set-up that I used at the Deliver Fund Range Day 2022. It was a great time across the board and I cannot wait to get back next year. Huge shout to Justin, @archangeltacmed on IG, for putting this on and making it happen. Justin is an amazing human being and one of the best dudes I know. Also, thank you to all the instructors for their time and wisdom and selflessly providing knowledge to so many students. Hope this video helps someone who is looking as to what they should set up for a full day of shooting, any questions or comments, feel free to reach out.
In this video I dive into one of my first gun belt set-ups that happens to be from Grey Ghost Gear. This thing has more time on range and in use than any other belt set up I own beside my patrol duty belt. I am still very happy with this overall and believe this is one of the best bangs for the buck on the market. Feel free to comment any questions down below or things you think could be done better. I look forward to seeing it. As always, stay safe and stay trained.
In this video I dive into how I prefer to mount portable radios on my kit, no matter what kit that is. 8 years in law enforcement has at the very least shown me exactly what NOT to do, but I am sure these set ups could even be improved. Feel free to share your experiences, questions, concerns, gripes and the rest down in the comments below. I know I could definitely learn more about comms myself. Stay safe, and stay trained.
In this video I dive into the bare essentials of what I keep in a hiking pack and on my person for short distance hiking in moderate hiking conditions. This is not a complete one and done list of what could or probably should be in a hiking pack, but it is what I carried with me to maintain a lighter load capacity. Feel free to share In the comments section what your must haves are for hiking, we would love to learn from you. As always, stay safe and stay trained.

In this video I dive in for a closer look at my newest rifle build. It is a nothing fancy to look at or really duplicate but I have found that this set up is what seems to be working best for me for what I personally need out of a carbine.
In this video I give a break down of the multitool I always have with me on my range belt set up. It has come in handy numerous times for not only my firearms, but friends and students as well. Theres a ton of decent options on the market, I guess the take away is consider carrying some sort of multi tool on your person for the random occurrences that come up.
In this video I give the first initial look at my recent truck gun build, which is essentially just a 12.5 Aero Precision build with some parts swapped out. I was trying to find the happy medium of budget vs. dependable. If you guys have any insight, comments, or questions please feel free to comment down below and let me know what you think. As always, check out Brownell's Inc. for your firearms needs, we can't thank them enough for the immense support. Stay safe, stay trained.
In this video I am showing the start of my second Grey Ghost Gear battle belt set up. The price point and quality of the first one was pretty impressive, so I wanted to find out if this was luck of the draw or a consistent trait of the brand. This is not quite done yet with some modifications still pending, but the bulk of the set up is pretty much done. As always be sure to check out Brownell's Inc. for all your shooting and gear needs, I really can't express how great the guys and gals over there have been over the last few years. Stay safe, stay trained.
