Incredibly grateful for Garrett of RAS Group for taking the time to work with me while I was on vacation in NY. He takes his time to fully explain concepts and make sure they are understood before moving on to real time applications and practice. He uses his real life experiences to explain the practical uses of skills instead of just doing it to look good for a photograph. During the training he addressed each student as an individual, tailoring his instructions and critiques to each person's skill level rather than treating the group as a whole. I would definitely want to train with RAS Group again.

I have experienced instruction from RAS Group on a couple of occasions. GGW weekend was open for all experience levels and all skill levels. It ranged from getting to know about guns to knowing your gun to firing your gun. Everyone walked away from the weekend feeling confident in handling their gun and confident in carrying their gun. After GGW I was able to receive one on one instruction to enhance my beginner level experience on two separate occasions . I am looking forward to more instruction from RAS group. As a first-time live-fire training attendee of Gun Girl Weekend instructed by Tampa Firearms Solution and RAS Group/Garrett, I was impressed. Garrett clearly has a wealth of experience and knowledge with firearms. His teaching style is very much hands-on. In CQB training he'd show the technique, have us try it with a blue gun, give constructive feedback, then we'd run the drills hot. He was very patient and often funny and it was clear he can cater his style to your personality and concerns. He was open to alternative views and explained his positions thoroughly. I believe I left the training a safer and more capable citizen. You can't ask for much more.

From all ranges of shooter levels it flowed and range time was good and thorough. We went over multiple facets of CQB to apply speed, ability and weapon handling. Informative civilian friendly tactical situations.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to a training March of 2022 where RAS Group was one of the instructors. Garrett was extremely encouraging and patient as a teacher. He took his time demonstrating techniques and worked with each of us individually to make sure we were comfortable. Excellent instructor!!!
