NYS Pistol Permit Course

We are proud to announce the addition of New York State CCW safety and certification course to our training catalogue.  This course is what you need in order to qualify for the minimum requirements in order to apply for your NYS CCW Permit.  In addition to the minimum requirements set forth by New York State, RAS Group will also provide students with a step-by-step guide on completing the pistol permit application, the best practices for concealed carrying, best recommendations for choosing an appropriate firearm for your first handgun purchase, and a comprehensive plan for our students after completing this course.

RAS Group was honored to be asked to be directly involved with developing the new curriculum from the ground level.  Garrett and Aaron were two of four instructors tasked with gathering, organizing, and creating this new course.  RAS Group will also be providing 10% off of our Pistol 1- Fundamentals course for every pistol permit student that undergoes and successfully completes their CCW course with RAS Group. 

Having the most comprehensive training program in Chautauqua County, NY we are proud to be able to help equip our students with the knowledge and confidence for success at the ground level.  

This is a two day course, run on consecutive days. $275 per person for both days of instruction. Price includes all required paperwork and materials needed, including use of one of our firearms, ammo, eye and ear protection. We will also be providing lunch each day. 

What to bring:

•We recommend participants bring a notebook and pen for notes as desired

•Water, snacks, or your own lunch if you have any dietary restrictions. 

•Please wear comfortable clothing, and closed toe shoes. The second day will include live fire instruction and weather appropriate clothing is encouraged.
