Handgun Proficiency

The Handgun Proficiency course is our intermediate defensive pistol course and is for people who have successfully completed our Handgun Foundations course or have completed a similar course from a reputable instructor. Proof of completion will be required prior to signing up for the class. Please contact us with questions. 

This course will dive deeper into the world of performance driven defensive handgun techniques with an emphases on  fundamental enhancement, malfunction clearing, emergency and tactical reloads, target transitions and target identification.

What to bring:  

• Handgun
• Approx. 400 rounds of ammo    
• Hard-sided OWB (outside the waistband) holster. (For safety reasons bra holsters, soft side collapsible holsters, cross draw, Serpa, ankle, off-body and behind-the-back holsters are NOT allowed. Contact us with questions.)  
• Eye and ear protection   
• 3-4 extra magazines    
• Belt mounted magazine pouch   
• Notebook and pen
• Please pack your lunch, adequate snacks and hydration
