Handgun Foundations

Our Handgun Foundations course is for people who have completed a pistol permit course or who have a basic knowledge of handguns and handgun safety, who are looking to establish or expand on the basic fundamentals of correct shooting in a defensive context.  

This course will dive deeper into the fundamentals of stance, draw stroke, grip, trigger manipulation, and sight alignment. In addition to these fundamental skills, we will also discuss the mindset that drives the training culture and proper training habits. 

 What to bring:

• Handgun
• Approx. 300 rounds of ammo 
• Hard-sided OWB (outside the waistband) holster. (For safety reasons bra holsters, soft side collapsible holsters, cross draw, Serpa, ankle, off-body and behind-the-back holsters are NOT allowed. Contact us with questions.)
• Eye and ear protection 
• 3-4 extra magazines 
• Belt mounted magazine pouch 
• Notebook and pen
• Please pack your lunch, adequate snacks and hydration
